Got the flies yesterday from the swap and all that I can say is WOW!! The talent, creativity and ability to tie what the fishies want is everywhere on this board!!

My boss and the chironomid tying God were both very impressed with the bugs.

Thanks to all who particpated

As someone who saw them all, I can say that people will be equally impressed with your handiwork as well Ryan.

Thanks for participating, the recipes look great in the pattern board too.

Picked mine up when I returned from the Deschutes this PM. Thanks for your effort Juro. And to all of you tyers outthere, they look great and very fishable.

I echo the thanks. Got some great patterns and have been admiring the tube flies in particular. Also a big thank you to Juro for adding his killer patterns!

I got my package on Saturday, it really was just like Christmas. Special thanks to Juro, J. Rowley, Dana, Ryan and Andre. Ryan, I thought you were a jig fisherman? That's a beautifully tied dry line pattern!

The tube flies look deadly. One questions about fishing them: do you shove the tube over the hook eye, or do you let the tube slide freely above the knot? I hope to test drive those critters in Skeena country this September ... can't wait!

Ok,

I'm getting a little pissed (mad for our Canadian friends)at the USPS for not getting me my flies yet, like a little kid waiting for a back ordered toy. It turns out, I've been travelling so much I had a box of mail under my admins desk.

To all great job, especially to our grand swap master for taking the time to organize this swap. The patterns, materials, and the variety of there use adds to the pleasure of of our qwest. These swaps are one of the best ways I have seen to demonstrate skills, ingenuity, and serious flashbacks to our friends across web.

I've caught fish on JJ's unnamed pattern, Juro's caddis pupa, hooked fish on the Rat. I look forward to using these other pattern as guides and tools to place metal on the beach.

I hope when I get to the Big T this fall these patterns will see some action.
I will dutifully put a least one of these to use this afternoon, hmm that sedge looks like a great place to start.

regards
