Fished the sky on saturday and got to test some lines on the new 9140-4, which doesn't have much in common with the old one. Very powerful, very pleasant to cast. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day to be on the river, was hoping for a fish from the same hole thats given me two from the last two outings but it was not to be. The river being low as it is has been a learning experiance for me, its made me fish different water and learn where fish may hold in low clear flows.
Thanks for the repot... two for three? You're living right my friend. Were these battled on the new 9140, and hows the rod under "load"? As much as I love the 7136-4, there are times when I feel it needs a little more stick with a fish on the line.
