Just occurred to me that javascript is client-side (browser) therefore the date you see on the upper right side is probably PST. Because the server is EST, the times between the "Today" display and the ones for each thread are still three hours offset.

Is this the case? Do you see your local time on the upper right?

Yes Juro posting times are three hour ahead.

Now if I could only use that server time to play the market, get more sleep, time for the kids and more time to fish. HHMMMM, could we work this in to some kind of crazy time machine.
