Great news - is WSC going to be at the round table? I would like to register and attend, although it would mean the loss of a precious day on the water for an east-coast transplant.

I'll look into the signup info - thanks Ryan!
The WSC will have a voice but we are still trying to determine what that is. The last two months have been dedicated to pulling together a report on steelhead related issues. These will parallel the symposium agenda. It is likely that this report will be submitted as a "friend of the court brief".

Juro,
I would not give up a day on the river as public input will be limited. The WSC will be making a big push to get seats filled for a show of solidarity but other than that and the report, input will likely be limited. I will be there for the morning session only and then will be headed north for 8 days on the Kispiox and Bulkley.

Hope to be able to share a dram of malt with you when you are out.

Count on it friend!

Thanks for the advice but I may still attend... then I will hide in the back of your vehicle for the 8 days that follow! WOW what a great trip that would be.
