Had a great time at the Clave . I'll let the others go into details. A lot of big fish were caugth despite the conditions. As for me I got a chance to learn the dry fly of saltwater fishing for Dave Pearson a flats master. Hope I got the last name correct. We had a shot a several pod øf crusing fish . I saw Dave catch three nice fish. It was like catching fussy rainbow on size 28 BWO on the Missiouri. What a experience. The evening BBQ was a lot of fun with Chef Jimmy providing the laughs. Got to see Hawkeye's secret big fish fly. Didn't get a chane tos fish with Striblue but we will another time. Thanks again for a great time its only the beginning of a great season.

So, you hooked up with the mysterious DP! I crossed paths last weekend just long enough to be talked out of my well mouthed fly. ;-) Yes, he is a disciple of the flats.

Chef Jimmy missed his calling in life as a standup comedian. Between Roop, Pete Gray, and everyone else, I had a lion's share of chuckles.

Thanks for the tip on the channel out front, it kept us looking out the windows until things became obvious. Steve's constant hook ups out there really got the group into their waders in a hurry and that bonus fishery was responsible for dozens of fish on the clave tally over the weekend.

FishHawk, It was good to see you at the Saturday dinner, and I look forward to fishing with you soon. I fished a number of times with Dave at north Monomoy and South Beach and have a copy of his famous little green crab. He is one great flats man . A real hardcore with a lot of practical knowledge.
