FREE FLY CASTING INSTRUCTION FOR JUNIORS!

Place: Howard Miller Steelhead Park, Rockport, WA.

Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm, May 5, 2001

Ages: 7 to 18 All under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Equipment: Fly rod, fly line, fly reel. Some rods will be available but, limited. Please bring your own rod if you can.

The instructors will be volunteers from the west coast fly fishing community and are very experienced fly fishers.

There will be two handed and single handed casting demonstrations by some of the experts.

Please join us and bring a kid. All experienced casters are encouraged to come and help teach a kid to cast.

Sounds awesome - wish I could go! It would be hard to watch the Skagit flowing by, and drive over the Sauk and the Stilly on the way up... but still better than not being there.

I'd love to post pictures if you take any.

Juro,

I will indeed take pictures. I know that several of the northwest best spey casters will be on hand. To see these guys put on a casting demonstration will keep my mind off the river and its contents. Please, all that can come, do so! It will be fun.
