Fishing the Southern Coast of North Carolina is an excellent fishing destination, particularly for those looking to sight fish. The Wilmington area including Oak Island, Carolina beach, Wrightsville, Figure 8, and Topsail island provides an abundance of opportunities to target a variety of species both inshore and nearshore. My name is Captain Jeff Kidwell, and I am a fishing guide along this expansive 300 sq. mile area. I specialize in sightfishing on fly rods and light tackle but build a variety of different trips depending on my angler's desires and experience.
