What an incredible time that was! I am still there in the stony current, short pines casting long shadows on the hills, light dusting of snow on the mountains and trains clamoring down the valley. Looking up and down the bank and seeing the long Spey casts of tiny fishermen reaching into the flows of this giant place, and the steelhead - the most perfect steelhead. Full of fire and as large as the scenery - just to look at them restores my faith in all things pure.
I am indebted to you guys for an experience that has added an unforgettable chapter to the book of my flyfishing life. Thanks is not enough, I commit to returning the favor in another place, another time in this great world of ours.
