New places to fish

In the next year or two i plan on retiring.I have put off traveling to new flyfishing destinations for a long time. Now being this is a world wide web which is a great thing.Sometimes you would like to hear first hand about trout fishing in the areas that others live and play.Beyond tieing flies and dating super models(yeah right) it would be an interesting way to find new places to fish.Feel free to respond about your best places to fish.

new place for you...

Hey ronnie z,

Congradulations on your retirement... now you can get on with more important things like fishing...

Why not try my neck of the woods here on the Gaspe Peninsula?? We have some amazing sea-run brook trout fishing here. Not TRUE sea run, they are still brookies but they are HUGE!!! dry fly, wet fly, 3-4-5 wt rods, 99% sight fishing and no other anglers around!! best months are July and August... private message me for pics and a link to my website.

Frowning rods and screaming reels to you!

The Bow River in Calgary Alberta Canada...20" + Browns and Rainbows every day are reported summer, winter, spring or fall.
The largest so far that I've seen come out of this river was a 27" Brown. It was alot o fun on my 5wt rod with 4 lb test.
