anyone have a good weighted squid fly recipe?

Not weighted but the Red Can Squid by Skok/Boyle is practically a WMD when they are in the rips.

My sinking squid is tied with a palmered zonker strip with 1/4 oz eyes about halfway back towards the bend- some saddle hackles and DNA frosty fibre for a tail- works pretty well...
![]() Last June, we went old school with pink& white and grizzly &pink seaducers picking off "risers" in front of the rips- it was tremendous. |
