Not sure how I feel about this one, seems like cheating...but as long as it catches fish I don't care. Tied specifically for a location where pink salmon swim in a big circle and wait for the tide to come up and then continue up stream...Silvers and Steelhead circle underneath and catch the falling eggs...

I used to tie something very similar using hot glue for the egg.
Always looked like it should work but never had much success. I think the hot glue is more buoyant than ther materials that and the marabou always kept it up to high in the water column. ALthouhg I was always fishing moving water, and maybe your situation is different. Looks good though, should work if you can get it down to the fish.

That's a gooey bob (a rubbery version of the ol' okie drifter) for those who aren't familiar with steelhead drift gear.
