Off Wacky

Mike and I spent Sunday on Hedge Fence and L'hommediue(?) shoals looking for speedsters. Didn't see any but apparently they were out there. We ended up having a lot of fun with just about as many smallish blues we could handle. No bass and I added a new species to the first time caught and first on a fly - scup - whoo hoo!

The search goes on and man have we got a lot to learn!

I was out there in those two locations sunday morning. Stayed with the blues until the bite died down and then went to Hedges. No one else there at the time but did not see any signs of activity either.

Some bonito were being trolled up at the Hooter. One guy even got one on a tube&worm.

I too was out in both locations Sunday and Saturday morning at various times. Had four friends who don't fish much so we were trolling mostly (doh) but they had a blast on those little blues. What boats were you guys in? Bob you have an Aquasport?

No bonito for me either...

Yup on of those teal green ones. Golden retriever often seen in the bow. Or if bumpy hidden in the stern

We were in a white boat with a red top/decking - MFG brand I think. It's ancient but the motor runs well and it gets us there and back. We'll be adding a putting green to the bow in the next few days.
