Penguin's PhatPhlys...

I'm trying for a semi-slider variation...
The pheathers and bucktail are as dense as a 9th grader in a geography class just before lunch...
They move alot of water and stay at or just below the surface (almost phloat).
Any jury suggestions?!

Pete, I`m going to be up there a lot this spring. we will have to fish at night to give them black ones a fair trial. They look like Mr. wiggly to me. What happened to the tail on the middle one?

Hind sight being what is was...

Hi Steve...
I was trying for a sorta' phlying wedge...
the black ones came first (with night fishing in mind)...
the middle one was tyed last and I now see what you mean about
"what happened to the tail"...
Good point!...
a few long hackles probably would have been in order...
I guess they call that R&D (research&development)
Fishin' in the dark was drastically missing from my last seasons schedule...
That won't happen again!
Meet you at O'dark thirty!

Jack Northrup would be proud. The B2 does not have a tail. Pete, how large a battery does the fly require to operate the flight control computer for a day?

The white one reminds me of Mark Sedotti's "Bunker Head" pattern.
