Idaho Spring Steelhead

I received the following note with my annual questionaire from the Idaho Fish and Game Commission:

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!

THE GOOD NEWS CONTINUES. . .

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission increased the limits for the 2003 Spring Steelhead season. Limits are: Three per day, nine in possession and 40 for the season (the purchase of a second steelhead permit is required if harvestiing more than 20 steelhead).

. . . . How'd we let so many get by us in the lower Snake?

Leland.

Can't answer that Leland as either I let all of them get by me or they were already by before I got there on October 15th. Maybe the answer is they are not dumb and all swam up the Idaho side If so, I need a longer speyrod. Tyler where are you when I need you?

Leland,
The river is full, fishing is easy but the drive over right now sucks.
Sinktip all you need is some professional instruction. (edited by moderator)
