Post flytying contest

Hello everyone,
I have set up a flytying contest and we need as many people as possible, there is now limit. All you have to do is tie as many flies as you want, you can tie 1 hard one or 10 easy ones or other way around its whatever you want. Me and the best flyfisher in my town will judg the flies and we judge them by creativity, so they cant just be a peace of yarn on a hook, Originality: Conventional, Outlandish, Customary,Durability: Takes as many mean, toothy critters as possible before falling apart,Quality: Made as though someone really wanted to impress the fish with his talent.

Material Availability: Should be locally obtained without mortgaging the house.

Clarity of Instructions: Shouldn't need an advanced degree to decifer.

you can tie the flie for any freshwater fish.
There are 1st second and third prizes and first prize is half the flies that were entered second and third split the rest of the flies. So it is better if more people join. you alson have to put a tag with the flie saying what matierals were used. I have the form ready so if you want it emailed to you and you are interested my e mail is
fisherboy@shaw.ca
hope everyone joins in

Thumbs up fly tying contest

I won a fly tying contest once back in 1983, sponcered by flyfishing magazine....

I tied an enlarged nymph (3 inches long from eye of the hook to the tip if the tail)

I called it: THE UGLY SISTER

Fish fight each other trying to get it...
It looks like a big, sassy, ugly bug...

When all else fails, I put on the ugly sister and catch fish...
The best thing about it is, the more the fish abuse it, the better it works...

I would like to enter it into your contest if that's OK with everyone...

Please advise me about this, if it is not OK to use a past winning fly, then I will tie my favorite terrestrial: THE LADY BUG
