Rhodey Hardcore Clave Images

Yup a hurricane blew ashore down in La. this past Oct. We had a clave planned for South County Rhodey and there were predictions of 12' surf and torrential rains. A small ragtag band of us flew in it's face, showed up anyway. I wished I took more pictures.

1st one:
The crew walking off of the "West Wall" which is where the daily early Albie run happened. Papa-G leading the procession-always a good soul to have in camp.

Wish I could post pics. I`ve got a picture of some guy, wrapped up in a fly line, posing with his first fly caught Fluke at the corner of the West Wall. The face is familiar but the name seems to elude me, any idea who it could be LeftY?

Thumbs up

Your pictures remind me that every day squandered last season is a day lost until the next, and one less fishing day in life.

Nice pics, sometimes there is nothing as invigorating as a storm.

Slinger,
My first fluke on the fly. If you bring it to the show and leave it with Juro I will scan it and add it to this thread. That fluke blitz was so funny. Nothing like saeeing fluke shooting 2' out of the water!!!:eyecrazy:

Slinger ....

If you like I can scan it too. Just give me a buzz and you can bring it over. Can get it up and running quickly instead of waiting for the Marlborough Show if its important.

Cool pics Terry. Here's a few more from the weekend following the Rhody hard core clave. This one is Chuck Reid yakking the Quonny breakway. We paddled up current and rode it back into the pond.

Here's the best pic Chuck could manage of my very first albie.
When I finally landed the fish he was casting for one of his own and had misplaced my camera.

Chuck found the camera about 5 minutes after I released my fish, it had slipped into the leg of his waders. I had him take this picture just so I could continue to give him a hard time about it. :hehe: Anyway, here's the picture my fist albie. Weekapaug breachway near the bridge.
