Thumbs up My son caught his first chum today

Took RG, RG's sister, my son Brad, and myself out to a local chum river. Didn't have alot of time, so figured it was a quick fish fix.

Well, my son landed his first chum. I helped him a bit on the beaching process, but he did the fighting. It was a borderline keeper. But he was so proud of it (and the hatchery wants them out completely) so I let him keep it. I'll smoke it (luckily was firm and meat was still a bright pink surprisingly). So, here's his picture, RG had to hold it for him (he was afraid of the teeth.)

Please congratulate the young sportsman... and of course his parents for taking him fishin'!!

He won't forget that battle anytime soon - perhaps never!
