Question SW Connecticut fish?

Heading to the in-laws for turkey day, and might be able to sneak away for some early mornign casting on Thursday.

Anyone know if there might be fish around Sherwood Island Park if one is fishing from shore?

Any other suggestions...I'll be in New Canaan and can't really travel too far.

Bring the muck-luks and winter weather gear it is supposed to be COLD!!!! Talking 2-4" snow tomorrow around here. There have been fish around the area you speak of just have to go and see what you find I am going to be indoors warm and comfy by the fire if the weather turns out to be correct.

I think the answer probably is there may be.....

Other shore possibilities close by include the Housy Estuary at either Milford Point or Short Beach (on the Stratford Side).

Looking at the current reports its very much feast or famine with the latter being prevalent. However, when the feast is on, it really is on!

Good luck, I may be out also if the weather behaves!
