I thought I signed up for a summer run fly swap... did I send flies to the wrong swap? No matter, I must've missed the discussion.

Did I miss the winter run steelie swap, how could that be ? Today was my first day of winter steelheading, snow, cold, no wind though, so I lucked out, but it was still COLD (low thirties and the water felt like low 40s already!

Got to have a winter swap, aren't we ?

Lower middle...now I need to come up with a name for it....the model I used was the Whistler.

In order of tying in:
3/16 Nickel I-Balz
lead wire underbody
Rainbow Holoflash undertail
bunny strip tail
crosscut bunny strip body
chartreuse schlappen

Ashley, dubble ditto's to Hal's request.

Nice job, even in the photo above. If you join the next exchange, how about a Euro pattern? Never heard of a "willie gun" until Malcom intro'ed it to the board. Found this pattern to be extreamly effective in the upper Rogue River here in Southern Oregon.

More "European Surprises" would be wonderful!!
Fred
