Wells Me

I know its the wrong direction to go but that's where I'll be this weekend. I'll take any suggestions ohter then sneaking out for a four hour drive south. Go get'em in Rhody and on the Cape.

Larry- You might not be headed in the wrong direction after all. Last week I got info from a reliable source (my dad) that stripers are still in the Kennebec and blues are still being taken at the mouth of the Saco. We've had a few cold nights, so they might be heading out soon, but you'll be a bit south of these locations and maybe in a great position to intercept.

Good luck!

I was at the mouth of the Kennebec last weekend and there's lots of bait but only caught mackerel. 10/8 was the last time I got into any bass. Wells may still be seeing some bass but I haven't heard. York river my be the place to try. Mousam River at the mouth just south of Kennebunkport has some nice rips and bowls. The fish are getting scarce though.
