H'mm after $6,000 for a reel, how much would the divorce lawyer, second household, child support, ... cost?

For that kind of money you might be able to get rid of the mayflies and have a sand eel and a peanut bunker engraved instead

Hey, I posted this link earlier this year and said that if anyone has one of these Iwanted to their fishing partner.

No one responded but now I know John is onto these.

I would no longer have a wife or children if I bought one of these.

God, they look lovely though. Guess I will have to settle for my Orvis CFO.

Please don't tell me when they show up on ebay, I don't want to be tempted, the Beaverkill is where I really started serious fly fishing in my youth.

Hal, I had forgotten that you posted it earlier... I got a prompt on my e-mail that suggested I look into the Ultmate Flyfishing Site and I saw this thing...nice though.

Very nice it is, but who may have one and is willing to admit it is my question ?

You know having that reel in lieu of my 30 year old $ 20 Plueger Medalist will not help me catch more trout.

That reminds me that site had a monthly fly rod give away which you need to reenter each month. I tried it a couple of times but no luck.

Need to try it again a man cannot have to many fly rods.

That's a lot of dough for a reel held together with (a lot of) screws. What gets screwed the most, the reel or the buyer?

Hey Mr. Barnum, where you be?

I misplaced a reel this past weekend. I must have left it behind at the CAC. I will pick it up soon.:hehe:

Pete; Ugly stick, No I see it as a perfect match for the Johnson 4 piece outfit I see at the local wally world. The pewter finish of the reel would provide contrast to the football shaped finish on the windings, foam handle and plastic reel seat.

Actually, if you can drop 6K on a reel, you can put it on whatever rod you want.
