Why I Love Sweet Lou

This was taken from by Seattle Times photographer Mark Harrison after what I believe to be Lou's all-time best tyraid during the bottom of the 9th of this past evening's game (this was the second time Lou chucked the first base bag as I guess the first toss was not far enough)...

...and to think people thought he had mellowed!!!

Have to check that out, Lou was one of my favorite yankees.

However he disappointed me in 1977, took my new bride to a yankee game in the stadium, Lou was batting in first inning, umpire called him out looking, he went crazy and got ejected from the game.

Baseball is a game of failure and patience, its a wonder he has lasted this long.

Hopefully some day he will be the Yankees manager, I could see it happening.

I heard Lou on the radio this morning complaining of a sore arm and right hamstring. LOL

I would hate to see Lou when he loses a fish, but doubt he has the patience for any type of fishing. :hehe:

Very safe assumption.

This fellow was never involved in the disposal of explosives in the Military.

I sure hope Lou never leaves Seattle...especially to return to the Yankees.
