Slam

I cannot ever remember taking Cutthroat, Rainbow and Brown trout from the same spot on a river before. I did it yesterday on the Cache La Poudre. The water is very low and the fish were crowding a channel where a stream entered the river.

Sounds french to me, best I ever did on a trout slam was brookie, rainbow, and brown in the same day.

Best great lakes slam was a steelhead, king salmon, and large river brown in same day.

Now I am just looking for one good steelhead

Sounds like fun Brad. Sure beats the trout fishing around here. I remember riding along side the lower stretches of that stream once durring run off and thinking it would be worth exploring. Just haven't been able to get the time for it on a business trip to the area.

Fred, the Cache La Poudre flows out of the rockies into Fort Collins, Co.
