Is there anything we can do as a group to persuade the decision makers to go forward with Keith as the provider; that is, undue pressure on the ecosystem would be unacceptable with carte blanche access.

The better move is to fish the north shore and watch the bluefin jump for entertainment while you try to get under the blues to the big stripers. Of course you need to find them too!

DB,
I had visions of the "Old Man and the Sea" then my knees went week. I don't own anything I could land one on. MAybe my 10 wt wouldn't explode? Got 250-300 yds of backing on my SA2. Then what, steel leader, or 30lb mono leader? Would my nail knots hold? Doubt it. Mr. Pink had a 20lb. break tippet built into his leader. I'd be happy just to see em.

Lefty,
They certainly are a sight to behold. I have never seen anything like it. And so close to shore! Hopefully they can stay around a couple more weeks. One only knows what the passing storm will do.
