If you're gonna tie small flies...

I just received this novelty vise complete with mini tools: bobbin, tweezer scissors, hair stacker, whip finisher, and hackle pliers. The vise stands just under 5" tall and I've put a quarter on the base for reference. It's a great conversation piece and will go on my desk at work.

And yes, I did tie that size 24 midge in the jaws with the mini vise and tools. The only substitution was that I used a regular bobbin. I don't own any thread spools small enough to fit in the mini bobbin.

After that, I felt like Gulliver. Now I need some Tylenol for the eye strain induced headache.......:eyecrazy:

It doesn't mention a manufacturer, but I got it on ebay from this shop for about one half of the list price. I'm guessing that they might be overstocked. They have some other pretty cool stuff too.
