NE Coastal Kayak Club Tournament

We just set a date for our next tournament. Its gonna be at Barn Island in CT near Stonington.Same spot as the last one.Its going to be on Sept 21.Depending on how many guys we get will determine how many places that will pay out.Plan on signing in at 530 am with a launch at 6 am.100% pay out .That means every cent of money recieved will be paid back out.Plus we will have sponsoer donated prizes. The last one was alot of fun.Every one had a good time.I liked it because I got to meet a bunch of new yak guys .Just trying to see how much intrest I can drum up.We also plan on having one in Norwich on the Thames in Oct. date not determined yet.
Also we plan on having the clubs first meeting sometime in November and try to get that going.
Anyone intrested ?

JoeV

Sounds like fun. Probably won't be able to make this one since the hardtail clave is the following weekend but it will be great to get some reports. Is this a fly fishing only tourney or is any method allowed?

JimW Its open to all fishing except for bait.If we can get enough flyguys we will have a division for that to.Otherwise its up to you to choose how you want to fish. Its based on a honor system.Lots of fun meeting new people and sharing experiences with each other.

Adrian Last year was great on the Thames.
