Flies for Hardtails

PLease tell me what you think of these flies that I just tied up for the purpose of catching albies and/or bonito. Mainly interested to know if stuff like this will work.

Just wondering also if all patterns are supposed to go to the archives?

The top one is a bonito candy, then an attempt at a bunny fly and at bottom a kind of bunny tail deceiver- if there is such a thing. I am heading to Rhode Island this weekend - hope to meet up with ArtB, try these out and let you all know what I see.

Very, very nice, especially the white ones....don't see how they couldn't work... You can add them in the archives.

Thanks Stri

I wanted to thank you and Juro also for welcoming me to the forum. A great site! I am enjoying it.

regarding the flies- I just wasn't sure if all fly patterns were to go in the archives or not. - Perhaps I will just let these remain here and wait till winter to tie up some "show flies" that I would feel comfortable sending to the archives.
These flies are purely for fishing.

I am really looking forward to heading down to the coast this weekend. This saltwater thing is starting to get me and - as much as I like living in the Finger Lakes- I am starting to see the attraction of living close to the salt. Thanks to you and everyone else on the board for providing so much info on fishing the salt. I owe you all one ( or probably half a dozen).

Geoff

Geoff... it will be great to have another contributor this winter. I think our fly archives is the best on these type of boards. If you look though it you will see we have covered just about everything. The Trout board archives needs to be built up and the steelhead guys have started to post alot.
