Forum Hat=Personal Best!

WOW! It really works. First day out with the hat and I score 7 stripers between 13-17#s. Many big blue fish too.
I had heard that the Forum Hats are lucky, and I can tell you all that they are. I wish I could grow another head so I could wear two.
Or...I could just move to the Cape.

Fished on thursday off Nauset beach(about a quarter of a mile off). Small pods of big fish coraling and then slashing through the sand eels.
I'm sure I have blown all my hard earned karma.
We'll have better luck later in the season I suspect.

There is usually a good push of fish back up the Kennebec when the young of the year alewifes (wives?) ride the lowering of the reservoirs in September. This didn't come off too well last year because of the drought. It has been real fun in other years. The bass seem to be gorging themselves for the migration. The best part is they are keyed in on 2"-3" bait.
Catch you soon.
