Thanks Salty! I'm heading out to fish the low tide tonight. I've tried some small sandeel patterns here and only picked up schoolies. I'll be sure to tie on a sandeel pattern again and let you know how I do.
Well the schoolies were in full force, but nothing of any decent size. The sandeel patterns produced a few, but it seemed that anything I threw was working. Most successful was a red/white deceiver.
Joe, just finnished inserting the last of my flies on my web page.
there are NOW ( 100 SALTWWTER FLYS). an some
(450 CLASSIC ATLANTIC SALMOPN FLYS). that it for a while, will just be doing some refinning an some graphic/ text stuff next
week. so take a look enjoy, if you see anything you would like to copy or inprove on be my guest. Ill be adding a( FLY SWAP PAGE )this winter. so everyone else will have shot to have there flys up also.

I was just looking at your flies on your site. (very nice btw!) Anyway, could you point me to a few of your most successful sand eel patterns. I'm new at this fly tying stuff and would like to try to tie up a few eels.
Keith, check flybox2 the one befor the atlantic salmon fly box, look at the blue an pink squids (the fly UNDER THEM) works great there, also look at the plastic boxes look at the 3 set of flys . they also work there. all 3 sizes for the full season, should be using the large one now , all the eels I see are around 4-5 inches.

this gives me a good idea where to start. I'll take some pics and post if I can get these things tied up. Also, is that an epoxy your using for the heads? If so, is there one you can recommend, I've heard devcon is pretty good?
Thanks again. Keith
