Thumbs down

Anemic at best and overly onerous re: registering to simply view the forum(s).

Hogsnapper -

Here's how it works around here (maybe I need to put it in our terms and conditions at signup):

We are a not-for-profit worldwide community of flyfishers funded entirely by it's sponsors and members. Member contributions are voluntary, and sponsorship affords rights to advertising.

When someone takes advantage of our community by advertising without a sponsorship agreement, it shows a lack of respect for those who actually are paid sponsors of our site. We think very highly of them because they keep the place running when our costs have gone up with growth and bandwidth demands (we gotta have video!).

In fact it kind of makes *you* look bad! So if you are interested in using the FORUM as a place to advertise something, contact advertising@flyfishingforum.com for details.

Otherwise, you are welcome to participate as a fellow angler, I'd love to hear about the fishing down your way!
