Angry Just call me a rookie!!!!!

Decided to take off early from work yesterday and head to the Sky for some evening fishing. Started at the prison run and got a very soft take as the fly stoped its swing. For the second time this summer I missed the hook set because mind set is still thinking "trout fishing" and making me strike happy. I keep bringing the rod up to fast and I am not setting the hook by pulling the rod to the side until the fish set the hook. Man am I frustratred!!! I keep telling myself at least I am getting takes, but I would sure like to see one this summer.

Oh well, the Sky is looking geat and I have to thank God for letting it fall under 10,000 cfs. Saw one guy catch a nice 15-18lb chrome bright hatchery buck. Maybe next time.

TerryD.

Those big summer bucks are something to see, man I miss getting shots at them 2-3 times a week like the old days! Hang in there, you'll figure them out.
