Question 2 bead flies

Guy's
Here are two more bead flies that I tied the other day, the are called Sultry Minnows.

I'm wondering if some unsuspected fish might be interested in these tidbids?
What do you expert fishermen think?
Joe

Hey Joe,
They look real good. How about tying in the material on top and bottom in front of the eyes and putting the eyes a little further back. It may work out a little better imitating the placement of the eyes on Baby Bunker as well as other small bait fish.

Just a suggestion as always! Looking good!

Nick

Joe, very creative as always. I had similar thoughts to Nick - material forward, eyes slightly back "inside". Also, depending on the size of the fly, maybe a more mobile material top & bottom for smaller patterns?

The idea of a fly which incorporates "empty space" seems sound - since camouflage in the naturals has the same effect. As always, the fish will be the final judge but I would fish those with confidence.

I think they may work very well "dead drop" on busting tunoids

The hooks are Mustad 34007 1/0 and the flies are about 4 1/2inches long, maybe something a little smaller in lenght for STEELHEADS would be better, not knowing much about STEELHEAD fishing you would have to be the judge.
Good luck in tying and catching fish.
Joe
