Question camping on the cape

Can anybody recommend a campground on the lower Cape - someplace to car camp that's close to the ocean (to maximize my fishing time) and has showers, etc.

I have one place - sweetwater forest in brewster

I have minimal knowledge of the cape - I know where it is but not much more than that...

TIA,
TMS

Tod, Nickerson State park is the big one and has all that stuff..it's not on the Ocean side of Route 6A but is very close nonetheless. ......Or you can try rest areas along the midcape, pick a driveway around where you want to be or a commercial parking lot.... or the one I like.. check with a real estate company and find out which cottages have not been rented that week.... then leave and move your stuff in there.

Why shower and take away valuable fishing time? Geesh what a lady.

Shady knoll is right up the street from Sweetwater. Here's a link to some others. http://capecodoutdoors.com/camping.html

Thumbs up many thanks

John - I like the driveway idea. what's your address again?

Lefty - she's coming too. it's not a fishing trip either. It's a "I need a vacation" with fishing as a side dish...

Jim - sweet I'll do some heavy surfing there.
