Worms?

We were fishing from a boat on the Cape side of Bourne enjoying the fog.

Was I in a worm hatch last night?

If so, you would have needed a size 48 fly to match these...

I actually think they were squid, tan bodies, reddish apendages on one end, the whole thing was the size of an eraser on the end of a pencil...

Fish were not picky though, smaller flies were more productive. I went big trying to move up a class size as my brother in law kep tpulling in fish after fish with a #6 white snake fly.

Anyone invented a product to keep fly line from tangling in my dogs ears, tail & feet? :eyecrazy: Usually she just lays down on a PFD out of the way but we forgot to bail out the boat....

This should be a great weekend for those who can get out!

Good luck, have fun!

Jeff, will be on the cape this weekend thru the 15th. Maybe we can linkup for a trek down South Beach, or Monomoy? I will probably be on the bayside a lot, i.e. Sandwich, Scorton, Sandy Neck, Barnstable, Bass Hole, and Brewster Flats.
