Question Blue Fin Tuna

When would be a good time to target Blue Fin Tuna? Is anyone interested in hooking up for a charter to target BFT?

Craig.. September , October... I ment to go out with the guys from First Light this year ,but did not... we should hook up with them and head out of Marblehead. There were some about maybe three miles off South Beach and we could charter Todd down there or maybe I can convince Bob Pink or Brendan O'B to attempt... we wil need chum and 12 wts.... it would be a blast and hard fishing.. hard to find, hard to land.

Don't forget Bruce Peters!

He is a Bluefin 'afficionado'. I plan to do a day out with him sometime - maybe this season once I know for sure where I'm going to be. I was chatting with him at MSBA and he reckons August is when things get going - the striper fish is pretty good then too!

Also, call Art Burton Jr. of the Mako Bound out of Rhody. French Crk got one from his boat last year.
