I sure will! Currently waiting on a reply from Jenks. I'll email him tonight as well. BTW - Roop will not be able to coordinate this event this year. We are taking volunteers to oversee this and coordinate the event with Peter Jenkins and the Saltwater Edge.

Email me if you are interested. Thanks,

Juro

scheduling for this is going to be far more at the whim of the worms than anything else...when you hit a worm hatch right it is EPIC!

have fun & happy hunting.

I am game if we are talking the weekend before Memorial Day or the weekend after Memorial Day.

I will be moving over Memorial Day weekend.

If we can arrive at a date that fits my schedule then I will meister. I cannot commit until I have a date though.

Question Worms

Started to tie up some worm flys for the much anticipated hatch. Pretty simple:

size 1 to 4 gamakatsu hook

Black thread

Tie on a small amount of red marabo{or anthing else that will give it movement) about the length of the hook

Wind a length of red tinsel chhenille up the length of the hook stopping short of the eye. Cut off the excess.

Wind on a small amount of black tinsel chenille to form a head.

Tie it off, tie it on, and go fishing.

Any body out there doing anything else? I have an open mind and an empty fly box.

worms have already been hatching at a couple locations...cold weather will doubtless shut them off again, but it's all about time on the water!!

Called over to SWE three times, didn't catch Peter in the shop. Just send some email... hope to hear back soon. I'll let everyone know what dates he likes.
