Cool Directions to the Casting Clave

I hope everyone is siging up for the March 9 Indoor Casting Clave to be held at the Reading Memorial High School Field House from 3 to 7. The field house is a 5 minute drive from the Wilminton FlyFishing Expo. Here is how you do it.
Upon leaving the FlyFishing Expo, turn left (east) onto Concord St. Follow Concord St. and it will merge into Park St. Follow Park St. until you come to a set of lights. Turn right onto rt. 28S. Stay on this until you come to your third set of stop lights ( not counting the blinking light). Turn right at this third set of lights onto Birch Meadow Drive and take your first left onto Oakland Rd. Immediately turn right into the driveway that leads into the field house parking lot.
There is some talk about getting together after the Clave for dinner. I'd like to suggest Kitty's in North Reading. It is a 5 minute dive up rt. 28N to get there from the field house and they have lots of room to accomadate us. Their food is great - Italian, fried clams, pizzas and lots of it!

I can help out with Kitty's if we get a big crew going up there. My brother works there and pretty much runs it. I used to work there and know the family well. The Sat. crew is not the best, but if I show my face in the kitchen it might help things. Too bad, my bro isn't there on Sat. nights.

Thumbs up

Kitty's sounds GREAT!

For those who will be at the Wilmington Fly Show on Sat, it'll be super convenient to get to the clave.

Dave - I will contact you about the payment today.

Looking forward to it!

Jimmy,

Correction: That's Rte 93 not 495.

The Concord Rd. exit is just 3 miles north of the intersection of Rte 128 and 93. OR if coming from the north the exit is about 6-7 miles south of Rte. 495.
