Question Moving to VA! What's the fishing like?

Hi, all! I am moving to the VA Beach area and was wondering what the striper fishing is like in that part of the world.

Also, if you can comment on trout fishing, that'd be great.

Thanx!
Brian

Virginia Beach eh...well let's see you got the Chesapeake Bay, that's a decent fishing hole, or so I have heard. You've got the whole Atlantic Ocean. Fish or two in there... How about the Eastern Shore, just a quick hop across the bay by boat or the Bridge Tunnel. I am pretty sure you will find a fish or two to catch in Va Beach. Have a good time exploring. First spot you should check, if you are wading that is, Leisner Bridge. Fish at night, outgoing tide, east side. Park behind the restaurant there and walk over the dune. Trout, stripers, blues, flounder. Nice spot.
