Interesting day at Logan....

There I am on Saturday, Logan's Terminal C with a 19 month old son who doesn't know the meaning of "sit still." I have an idea, we can walk to the other end of the terminal to get a better view of the planes landing.

The first plane to come in was an American Airlines jet. Can you see where this is going.....? As the plane taxied by the large windows two F-15 fighter jets, not 200 feet off of the ground and no more than 500 feet from the windows casually, but very noisily flew by. Everyone in the terminal stopped, the windows rattled, and my son was thoroughly impressed. He kept saying, "again, again."

As the plane taxied it was mirrored my MANY security vehicles and ambulances, and a few fire trucks. I new something was up but the plane taxied out of sight so I went about my business.

There was no security alert, no evacuation, and my flight was completely uneventful. It wasn't until I got to D.C. that I found out the whole story.

People will never cease to amaze me. You know the saying, "If you don't have something nice to say about someone......." I'll leave it at that!!!

That's proof that there is only so much that can be done.... We wont be able to strip search everyone...This is not over... The only advise I find worth while in all of this is to be aware of your surroundings.. but that's only effective to a point.
