Post European Sea Bass (Dicentrarchus labrax)

I came across this site recently and being an ex-pat brit it stirred my interest. Seems my countrymen are struggling with the same issues of over harvesting by commercial interests that we had here and continue to be threatened by.

It's an all methods site but there are a couple of articles about fly fishing and conservation is a big theme.

I will definitely be packing the fly rod on my next visit!

Interesting... they look like a cross between a striper and a weakfish (alias squeteague / spotted seatrout). I hope the management strategies are effective in protecting these beautiful species.
