Thanks Juro, for scanning my memories, aahhhhh! But wait ! Now I gotta wait another 6+ months to top it ? Oh Man ! Well, that picture is gonna live on the wall next to my desk at work, on my refrig., in the bathroom (right next to the rubber ducky) and on the bedside table. Even my wife was impressed.

No Striblue, This was the day Juro showed up late, drops a fly in right next to me, and in all of about 30 seconds comes damm near beatin me for the biggest fish. " Nope, just a 36 incher" he says. The day you were with me the fish were twice as big, RIGHT !

Sincerly, I do want to thank all the friends I have made this past year, without you guys, and your patience and guidence I'd still be draggin too much gear (including the lunch cooler), and wearin the canvas waders on those death marches, and flippin sluggos to schoolies. I've learned more than I could ever have imagined from all of you and more importantly, made many life long friends. Something I don't take for granted.

BTW; Did you notice the hat, I wear it proudly !
THANK YOU

Case...NICE FISH!...Try this!
...under a bright light, lock your eyeballs open and stare at that swell fish for a few minutes...and when you can't stand it any more...turn the lights off and close your eyes...the image will stay with you for quite a while and your friends will all wonder about you new detached from reality gaze...'been workin' for me lately!

Osprey,
That's the great thing about this site, the guy responsible for me catching that fish was the same guy I met at the Wilmington Fly Show and turned me onto this site, the same guy that showed me where to catch fish like that, AND the same guy that showed me the type of fly to TIE, yes tie, I caught the fish on a fly of my own creation, varried slightly from Juros Reel Eel, using a flyrod (which was new to me at the time, but now, only a few months later, I feel pretty comfortable with). In addition to Juro's help, all the members of the site have been super about helping out those who need it. Now, I feel it's time to do the same for someone else. You want to catch a fish like that (or bigger, Thats my biggest striper so far, but you should see some of the fish these guys catch) just follow along with the board, and keep in touch come about late May. We are allways looking for friends to fish with.
Oh, it was also the same guy that showed up late, and within about 30 seconds has a fish on that darn near beat this one.
It was also one of those good friends I spoke of earlier.

Brian -

Thanks much but in reality I don't deserve the credit for your success on the flats - I recall the day we all decided to call it a day and came over to see if you were ready. You looked at us with an intense stare and said "I'm staying". As I remember it, we were all thrown into silence and wandering thoughts by your reply, as fishermen always do when someone in the group gets dedicated even after a long day and some nice sight fishing. After saying adieu I walked up the flat thinking... Case is going to score, bound to happen, yep. Sure enough, you had the pods of big fish to yourself and we all had to hear about it later! In fact every time you hit the flats you hit big fish.

You are a flats natural! Nice fish dude - can't wait for next year!
