Tube flys ... continued ... hook choice.

Some really great answers to my tube fly question. But one open ended question keeps creeping in: choice of hook. Single straight eye, double or treble.

Thoughts?

Straight eye slides into plastic outer tube on metal or plastic and single is legal in all areas My .02 saltron

Single's all it takes!

The hook while in the tube is in a good position to hook, yet during the fight it has 'close to the bend' degrees of freedom like a universal joint to prevent the frequent spitting out of the long stiff shanked hooks.

Many good short tube hooks to choose from too. Waters West in Port Angeles had a particularly good selection as did Avid Angler.

I used to use the TMC 105 in a size 4. Recently I switched over to the Daiichi X510 also in a size 4. It is very similar but it has a little more of curve to it and it is slightly heavier. I have not used it enough to form a solid opinion on it. If it would ever stop raining I'd fish enough to get an opinion! Will it ever stop? I've got cabin fever.
