PI report 10/11

After a couple of days of fish hitting the beachfront at dawn, today it did not happen.
Boo hoo. Oh well, gotta put in your time to get stripers in October up heah.

Fished the beachfront yesterday afternoon into early evening with JohnR & DougB. Five twinkies total. At least I ended my 0-for-7 run on the N. Shore; now I'm 1-for-8!

Hey Sprocket were you duck hunting? I could hear the shotgun blasts this morning. Sure was weird on the one month anniversary of Sep. 11. Do the stripers on Joppa create a danger to fisherman given their proximity to the duck blinds? I'm not sure where the blinds are.

Lefty - Just be VERY aware of where you're gonna walk. If you see ducks that aren't swimming away, chances are they're decoys - look for a big dark shape not too far from them
50yds or so - that should be the hunter.

If you're on the PI side of the Merrimack, by Woodbridge, don't worry too much, most of that is off limits to hunters - the ones there will be in a boat, look for that instead.

If you do wander near by most will just politly ask you to go...somewhere else, depending on their demeanor.

FYI: Didn't see many boats out there today and it was nice seas.
