Clave Regrets but who's down Friday?

Long ago I signed up for a series of courses at Mass Maritime and you can guess when the last one is going to be. Yep, this Saturday so I'll be SOL as far as the weekend 'clave is concerned ( I'm rationed to one fishing/boating day per weekend to keep the peace at home ). I might stop in at Jeff's cookout to say hi before heading home.
BUT, self-employment can have it's rewards. I'm looking at the possibility of a Friday AM trip aboard Rip Ryder or perhaps with the 'yak. Anyone else looking to do the same?

Bob, that's good news since I will be down at my place Thursday eve and was thinking exactly what you are thinking. I was either going to take the riprider or Yak from Hardings Beach to the inner portion of south beach on Friday morning.. Bring my lunch, land the yak at times over there. So depending on the weather, I will take the riprider or yak , but it will be one of the two. Let me know.

Bob,

I plan on being on the Cape Friday as well as several others from the Forum.

I was thinking about catching the first shuttle myself if I can leverage that as part of my clave scouting responsibilities.

bcasey, It would not hurt to get there 1/2 hour early. There is no dock. The Ripridder takes off at the beach, down the steps from the wild life sanctuary/weather station. There is parking at the sanctuary, but not for the Riprider passengers. You will need to park down at the causeway which you will pass on the way to the sanctuary. Ed "porky" Lincoln, Keiths father runs a shuttle from the causeway back to the sanctuay. It's not a long walk anyway if you did that. If it is not crowded you might be able to park at the sanctuary. But not advisable for Riprider political concerns. You can call Keith. See the ad on this board, and let him know you want room on the first shuttle, I may there, but I may yak to the south beach and find you guys there and maybe we can break for lunch or whatever. If you don't call him, there probably will be no problem with room on the boat anyway.

I'd love to join up with you guys later on Friday. I should be in the Chatham area around mid-day. If the Rip Ryder is still running then I could come out and join you for a couple of hours.

I'm in for the early shift. Gotta be back home late Friday afternoon, but I've always thought sleep is a highly overrated experience.....

I'll be there after work. Most likely will begin the day at the office at 6am to let me get out in the mid-afternoon, so it'll be a quick sortie before sunset and back to the Anchorage for the informal reception. Hope we can hook up!

My buddy Jeff and I will meet you guys at Rip Ryder for the first shuttle on Friday. Is it 7 or 8 am. I'm already getting alzheimers. We'll probably be at Nickerson for Thurs. night after work.

Well guys, I just can't let a Monomoy excursion pass up so I'm planning on joining the early contingent on the 08:00 Rip Ryder. I will stop by the Canal on the way home Sunday p.m. to throw big flies with the Spey rod.

I managed to wangle a business trip to our Waltham office tomorrow which means I'm more than half way there! I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding it very difficult to think about work right now! - Then again, maybe I do!
