Capt. Ray Variation

I did a little experimentation on trying to find a way to provide more support to Capt. Ray's Angel Hair Fly (to reduce fowling). A little bit of Mono & a Bunny Strip Produced the following. I don't know how it will fish, but I like the way it looks

Grego, looks good ...should make a realistic profile in the water. I will try a few.

grego- Looks like a good bunker imitation for the fall. I have tried the same idea with the Buffy adding a flatwing into the tail for the YOY herring that we get around July. Instead of the rabbit strip I would try a flat hackle- you get the support without the weight. Just my $.02. ron

Juro, No, just tied in the strip w/ a Mono loop.

Ron, Good Idea, I'll give it a try.
