Bayside Changes

Took a quick look at Cold Storage Beach in Dennis tonight. Noticable change was the leveling of the slough that runs the length of the beach along the high water mark. Has anybody had a chance to check out the bayside for changes?

Thanks Fred - very sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope she recovers soon. My prayers are with her.

Did you get a look at the structure to the east looking toward Quivett? I am sure Bill Stanton is wondering the same thing ;D

As I said, it was a quick look. I just scanned the beach. I had the rod in the car and was tempted to walk out on the bar but I really needed to go. I have to go down tommorrow for a meeting, so I think I'll do a more thorough inspection before hand.

By the way FWIW- from my vantage point it looked flat to the east.

the mouth of Scorton's is quite different than last year. the bowl that was at the mouth is now about 100 yds to the right of the right hand jetty(looking out toward the bay). the walls of this bowl are taller than the the jetty with one inlet/outlet on the jetty side. if this stays it could be awesome if the bait gets corraled into it by schools of blues or bass at higher incoming tides.
