Vieques PR

Looking for any information about the fishing on the Island of Vieques Puerto Rico. Has any one been? Guide recommendations? Timing? Looking at the March April time frame.

Thanks

Jon-feel free to write up your impressions/experiences for us. It's definitely on my list of places that I'd like to visit.

In a nutshell.
Lovely beaches, very poor DIY opportunities and not much better with a guide since the good flats are only accessible by boat across open water and if the wind is blowing too hard you can't go there, and even when you can, not a lot of fish.

I have to chuckle when I hear Vieques (at one time a primary East coast air-to-ground range). I probably nailed a lot of Bonefish there with 2.75 and 5" Zuni rockets in an earlier life.

Todd,
Did you consider it "fly" fishing?
