a-ha! you have gone to a wide body evolution for the bottom.......that gets rid of the wide gap on the bottom that the pheathers make when cocked at 45 degree angles...............I am still playing with the design.....each fly is slightly different re design, but same concept. Don't blame me for your now being possessed with this prototype

PS: wide body also allows fly to sit striaght when resting from swimming away from fish.

That would make a great crab pattern and thought it was..it uses the same pheasant feather as in some of the earlier Crab Apple carapace.
