skunked on Tuesday but got my first striper of the year this morning - a 29.5" Keeper, or around 11lb :

Cape cod UDL on a olive over white clouser on a 60 degree 1/0 jig hook.

Cheers

Mark.

That fish ate on the way up north!! Nice fish Mark.

Went yesterday.........skunked...but encouraging signs....we saw 4 large pods (2 out of range) of 20 to 40 fish.....we each got good shots at one of the pods.........oddly...no take or even a follow.....got a 2nd shot at one of the pods...due to the wind and general bad casting, the fly landed in the middle of the pod........they didn't even flinch??????
Bass showed only for about an hr at 2 1/2 hrs into the incoming..and then nada.
Well...at least some of them are here........at least there was opportunity. Will only get better.
Ron
