The Voodoo part is what I can't seem figure out. Better than ever though, really nice colors.

Wink PhreeStyle variations...

'Same olde phlyz... Different DAZE...
In the previous exercise I placed several CDL pheatherz over the white body to achieve a formidable contrast...
Below I welded in a Cree pheather on each side and overlayed with WHITE to subdue the contrast and insinuate a phishy profile...

The inuendo of phlash under the welded translucent pheatherz shows thru nicely... 'running lights...

Dartanyan y los Tres Mousecateers displaying variations and what happens when there is a notion trying to escape but NO set recipe...

Thanks, Pete. I think too many of my creations tend to have a thicker top/bottom profile. Gonna have to put them on a diet!!

Curious

As usual, great looking phlies! A definite inspiration.

But I am curious -- once you open the tube or bottle of that light cured stuff, do you have only a short time to use the rest? Or can you seal it from light and air well enough that it lasts a good while? Some of that stuff is not cheap and I don't tie a lot of phlies at one time -- too inexperienced in phly tying!

Thumbs up sopharsogood...

My tying station [das Bunker] is in the basement... it's NOT near any windows...
If you store this stuff out in the open near a natural light source, I suspect that there might be some "issues"... I haven't had ANY!
Light resistant Tuffleye syringes and Bug-Bond squeeze bottles have been serving me well for months and are still going strong...
I no longer use any of the CCG... out'a here... adios... FIRED!
but I digress...
Light cured acrylics seems to have an extended shelf life and, unless you are making big honkin' "lures" instead of phlyz, a container should last a while and serve you well...
Store it with care... NO worries... Leave it on a window sill and all bets are off...
NOT cheap but the results are, INMO, worth the price of admission...
There are less expensive epoxy alternatives out there but, I won't be going there any time soon [if ever]... make that NEVER!
